On Saturday, The Voice YouTube channel uploaded a video, which can be viewed below, of the costume designers, Erin Hirsh and Marta Villalobos, discussing the style evolutions of the remaining five contenders.

Sawyer Fredericks, Koryn Hawthorne, India Carney, Meghan Linsey and Joshua Davis have distinctive fashion, which allow for them to all standout from each other.

Blake Shelton's contestant Linsey apparently has "evolved the most" in terms of style on The Voice this season.

"Taking her from a more vintage look into a more sophisticated, sleek look with a nod to vintage," Hirsh revealed.

"She's letting us explore more modern silhouettes," Hirsh added.

While Linsey appears to have changed the most in her style choices during live performances, the other remaining contestants have also evolved.

"Getting an artist out of their comfort zone is very unique. Ultimately they have to look and feel the best they can look and feel," Hirsh divulged, adding that her job is "to be sensitive to that," yet give the artists a push so they can see themselves in a slightly different light.

The contestants go through costume fittings aside from the many rehearsals they face each week.

Villalobos shared that Adam Levine's contestant Davis has a "simple and classic" look, but she always tries "to add more sex appeal" through additional wardrobe pieces like "a sleek blazer."

She described Pharrell Williams' sole female contestant Hawthorne's style as "sweet with an edgy twist" and said it's similar to that of Taylor Swift's personal style. Hawthorne has been seen in many A-line skirts and floral prints, but they're constantly paired with leather jackets and boots for that edgy element.

Hirsh revealed Christina Aguilera's contestant Carney "was on the more conservative side" initially, but has since come out of her shell a bit.

"Impeccable tailoring, but with a modern twist" is Carney's go-to style according to Hirsh.

Lastly, Williams' other remaining contestant Fredericks' style was described as being "influenced by folk music" according to Villalobos.

Fredericks grew up on a farm so the costume designers "try to keep him as authentic to himself as he is."
