Taylor Swift & Conor Kennedy Break Up: REPORT
Taylor Swift has just ended up with more material for another studio album.
Swift, the country crooner known for turning heartbreak into Grammy gold, has broken up with Conor Kennedy.
"They quietly parted ways a while ago," Taylor's friend told US weekly. "It was just a distance thing. No hard feelings. They're fine."
The relationship troubles stemmed from the distance and Swift's hectic work schedule. Her new album, "Red" was recently released this week and is expected to sell 1 million copies in one week. Swift has been traveling extensively to promote her latest effort.
"It's been over a month since they've even seen each other," the friend explained. "With her promotion for Red, she has no time off until the end of the year."
The "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" hooked up with Kennedy, a high school junior, at his family's iconic Hyannisport, Massachusetts compound. The 18-year-old's father is Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and the late Mary Richardson Kennedy, and his grandmother is Ethel Kennedy.
The couple appeared to be inseparable this summer, spending a lot of time together. The two were seen on and off the beach kissing and holding hands, and Kennedy even accompanied Swift on a previous trip to Nashville, where he met her parents.
Things have become so serious that a source told New York Post while his relatives really liked her and felt "their lovey-dovey behavior is cute... it has made others in the family feel a little uncomfortable."
Another source told New York Post that the "We Belong Together" singer goes deep with her love interests and gets attached quickly.
"She always falls very hard and becomes very intense very quickly, and this time is no exception. In fact she seems to have fallen even harder," the source said.
Swift had never confirmed the relationship. She is known for discussing her personal life but has won multiple awards for writing songs inspired by her heartbreak.
"I don't talk about my personal life in great detail," the country singer said. "I write about it in my songs, and I feel like you can share enough about your life in your music to let people know what you're going through."
Reports suggest that Swift and her boyfriend first hit it off when she helped him cope with the recent death of his mother, who committed suicide earlier this year.
Swift has dated John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal, Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner and Cory Monteith.
