New reports suggesting that the final scene shared between Kalinda (Archie Panjabi) and Alicia (Julianna Margulies) in The Good Wife was doctored has opened up a can of worms.

Alicia To Be More 'Humble' And Will 'Soften' In The Finale

TVGuide's Joyce Eng brought the scene to people's notice stating that she was almost dead sure that the two actresses weren't physically present for it, and at best they might have only shared a few seconds of each other's company. Eng claims the scene was doctored and it was clearly visible as the actresses lacked any real engagement.

Gawker went on to connect this to an alleged rivarly between Panjabi and Margulies behind-the-scenes which was even reported by the Washington Post. This is also evidenced by the fact that a rift was created between the two on the show as well, and they hadn't shared a scene together in a span of two years. Their only interactions on screen took place over the phone.

The producers and PR for the show have done a great job of keeping the feud under wraps through this entire period, but that botched scene that was meant to represent closure between Kalinda and Alicia has definitely exposed a whole lot and also explains what went on through the last two seasons.

While talking about her last day of filming and saying goodbyes, Panjabi suggested that she did it in true Kalinda style in an interview with the BBC.

"Everybody was a little sad," she said. "We had tequilas and we all celebrated and then I got up on the bar in my boots and thanked everybody."

"And then I just walked out."

The finale, entitled 'Wanna Partner?' aired on CBS on May 10.
