Tempers will flare and anticipation run high as Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and Ra's al Ghul (Matt Nable) will face-off again in the finale of season 3 of Arrow.

'Evil Oliver' Is 'Going Out Fighting' In Finale, Stephen Amell Teases

The biggest tipping point of this chapter until now was when Oliver and Ra's al Ghul duelled on Nanda Parbat mid-season. It seems like things will come around as Oliver will reclaim his identity and perhaps also avenge his defeat by going up against Ra's al Ghul in the upcoming episode. In the preview for the finale, Ra's al Ghul is seen reminding Oliver that he is Al Sah-Him the heir to the throne of the League of Assassins. Oliver thunders in response, stating that his name is Oliver Queen, which also ties in with the title of the finale. As he roars back at Ra's al Ghul, Oliver takes out his sword from the sheath, ready to take the antagonist down.

On May 12, a new promo poster featuring Ra's al Ghul holding up his sword was unveiled via the official Twitter account of the series. This will definitely be the focal point of the finale, the ultimate battle between the two.

'Epic' Season 3 Finale For Arrow Is 'Very Definitive,' 'Feels Like The End'

In fact the indomitable Ra's al Ghul might not be invincible after all. Showrunner Marc Guggenheim has previously teased the possibility of his death on the show.

In an interview with TVLine, Guggenheim suggested that they had the freedom to do with Ra's al Ghul as they pleased.

"The truth of the matter is that DC is our partner, and they've been a wonderful partner," he said. "They've never told us who has to die or who has to live - and I don't anticipate that changing any time soon. What we do with Ra's as far as whether or not he lives or dies will be based solely on a creative decision that we make for the good of the show, and has nothing to do with the greater forces at DC."

'My Name is Oliver Queen' will air on May 13 on The CW.
