‘The Voice’ Season 8 Top 5: Sawyer Fredericks Receives Applause From Former Competitor & More [VIDEO]
The Top 5 of The Voice Season 8 each performed twice Monday night to earn votes to head into the Top 4.

Of the Top 5, it seems as though Pharrell Williams' sole male contestant Sawyer Fredericks remains a favorite in the competition.
Fredericks performed "For What It's Worth" by Buffalo Springfield, which can be seen below as well as "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri.

Throughout this competition the teen has been applauded time and time again. Monday night was no different.
Perri actually tweeted him "you are so amazing" after she heard his rendition of her song.
Perri wasn't alone in complimenting the teen though. Fredericks' former competition from The Voice also showered him with praise. Rob Taylor who was on Christina Aguilera's team gushed over Fredericks' performance of Perri's song.
Other former Team Xtina contestants such as Lexi Davila and Treeva Gibson shared similar sentiments. Fredericks is responsible for making Davila "fall even more in love with" Perri's song.
She also revealed that Fredericks has "grown so much" throughout this competition and he was "AMAZING" during the Top 5 performances "as usual."
Gibson pointed out it doesn't seem likely for anyone not to "love" Fredericks.
Other former competitors, including Adam Levine's artists Deanna Johnson and Brian Johnson also gave Fredericks much praise.
Deanna admitted to purchasing all of Fredericks' songs via iTunes from the competition.
She even told him he was "blowing minds."
Brian quoted Fredericks' coach when he told the teen artist, "You share that power every time you sing."
Fredericks' former teammate Caitlin Caporale even tweeted some compliments.
Fredericks is certainly a top contender in this competition!
