As a matter of fact, there will be. Carter Matt announced on Monday that the CBS crime drama starring Donnie Wahlberg has indeed been renewed for a sixth season. A number of other shows on CBS have been renewed as well, including Person of Interest, Undercover Boss, Elementary and several more.

Based on a cheat sheet from Entertainment Tonight, some other shows on CBS that have luckily made the cut include 48 Hours, Big Brother, The Good Wife, Mike & Molly, NCIS: New Orleans and plenty more. But unfortunately, not every series was lucky- Stalker, Battle Creek and The McCarthys have bid their farewell.

'Blue Bloods' Finale Created High Chances Of A Renewal?

What about some popular TV programs from other networks? Did enough of them get a renewal?

ABC is bringing back a good haul of big shows such as The Bachelor, Dancing With the Stars, Galavant, How to Get Away With Murder and Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. But Resurrection, Cristela and The Taste have been let go.

Renewed shows on The CW include Arrow, iZombie, Reign, The 100 and The Flash while Hart of Dixie and The Messengers have been canceled.

Fox series' that will return for new episodes include Bob's Burgers, Empire, Hell's Kitchen, MasterChef and Sleepy Hollow. The canceled series' are Gang Related, The Mindy Project, The Following and a few others.

Blue Bloods Season 6 is expected to premiere this fall on CBS.
