On social media, Richards' daughter, Brooke Brinson, shared a heartwarming photo of herself and her mother, along with a sweet message to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star.
"Happy Mother's Day to the best mom a girl could ask for!" Brinson wrote on Instagram on Sunday. "I love you so much @kimrichards11!"
Kim Richards Could Possibly Leave 'RHOBH' Show After Relapsing
Following the fifth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which included several allegations of a possible relapse, Richards was arrested at the Beverly Hills Hotel, where she had consumed a number of alcoholic beverages before being cut off by the Polo Lounge bartender.
Days later, the reality star spoke to Dr. Phil in a tell-all interview, where she revealed she had relapsed months ago, and also smoked pot. During their chat, Dr. Phil told Richards she needed help, and offered to pay for her to go to rehab, which she did.
Looking back on the most recent season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Richards admitted that the show caused a strain in her life.
"I haven't been working a program. Living through this season on the show, sometimes it's hard enough to get through it," she said. "The fans are very hard on me, and I went on Twitter to see what people were saying and it was just horrible."
