'Love And Hip Hop New York' Cast: Yandy 'Anxious' About Wedding To Mendeecees, 'Just The Beginning' [VIDEO]
As fans wait for Love & Hip Hop New York stars Yandy & Mendeecees to say their “I Dos” in a live wedding ceremony on VH1, the first episode of the web series features the couple preparing for their big day.
Yandy plans for the wedding and reveals that she’s a little concerned about how slow things were moving.
“I’m anxious to get the ball rolling. We’re running out of time, ok? I gotta hurry it up. This is just the beginning of my anxiety. I was nice. I don’t know how long that niceness is gonna last, but lets hope it lasts a little longer.”
She then recalls the day Mendeecees popped the question.
Things shake up a little bit when Mendeecees joins the episode. He reads that “You know they say wedding bands are the smallest hand cuffs.”
Yandy isn't too far away and didn’t seem happy about what the network was having Mendeecees say.
“I didn’t see that, they said that.”
But they disagree on whether the wedding bands should actually be taken off or not. Yandy says absolutely not before Mendeecees shares his thoughts.
“Yeah you’re supposed to take off your wedding band— when you sleep, when you shower, when you play basketball.”
Yandy then jokes that she would “chop off his finger” if he lost his ring. If Yandy lost hers, Mendeecees makes it clear “she wouldn’t be getting another one.”
He adds that a wedding ring is “a big deal.”
