On Friday it was officially announced that the perjury charge that was previously brought against her has been dropped.
The perjury charge stemmed from statements Jenkins made to the grand jury in 2013 regarding a gun in her home that potentially could have been the weapon used to murder Lloyd.

Yahoo! News reported Friday that on Thursday the prosecution submitted a filing asking the judge to dismiss the charge since Jenkins' testified in March, which led to Hernandez's conviction.
On Friday in a very short hearing, Superior Court Judge Susan Garsh agreed and dismissed the perjury charge.
"I'm feeling great. I'm happy to start my future with my daughter and move forward," Jenkins said outside the court.
Jenkins has a daughter who is 2 years old with the former NFL star. Things might even be rocky between the couple since when asked about if she and Hernandez are still an item Jenkins said, "Eh."
She uncomfortably twisted her diamond engagement ring and stopped answering questions promptly after being asked about her relationship status.
Her attorney, Janice Bassil, commented outside of court that the perjury charge should have never been brought up to begin with.
"She made an honest mistake," Bassil stated, but Gregg Miliote, a spokesman for the district attorney's office, said prosecutors disagreed with that argument. He revealed the prosecution decided to move to drop the charge since she finally cooperated.
"As a result of her more truthful testimony at trial, we could not in good faith continue the prosecution in this case," he shared.
