Jennifer Aniston appeared at a Vogue fundraising event this week, and she made quite the fashion statement with her enormous engagement ring from fiance Justin Theroux.

The 43-year-old actress headed to famed Los Angeles hotel The Chateau Marmont for the annual Vogue CFDA Fashion Fund event on Thursday, and she made the huge engagement ring, which has been estimated to be worth around $500,000, the centerpiece of her look.

The event's guests were a veritable who's who in the world of Hollywood. In addition to Aniston, other attendees included Vogue editor Anna Wintour, Gwen Stefani, Katy Perry, January Jones, Tobey Maguire and his wife Jennifer Meyer.

Aniston's presence at the Vogue event seems appropriate, as she has become known as a fashion icon for her relaxed yet chic personal style. The actress recently offered some fashion advice to women who want to look their best, and her tips were quite simple - always be comfortable.

"Don't wear jeans that are so tight they make your tummy hurt. Don't wear heels that are so high you feel like you're going to fall over," Aniston said. "Sexy is about being at ease with your body."

The former "Friends" star added that she's done her fair share of making herself uncomfortable for the sake of fashion, but she said that never makes for a truly enjoyable evening.

"There have been a few times when I've had to say to my girlfriends, 'Could you please come and undo me so I can pee?'" she said. "I mean, literally, it's like you have to have an engineering degree just to get into a flipping dress."

Aniston spoke about the importance of great wardrobe pieces that can be worn over and over again. For her, those include a bag from Tom Ford and wedges from Stuart Weitzman, which the actress said she has "worn into the ground."
