Taylor Swift 'Bad Blood': How Singer's New Music VIDEO Proves She's One Of The Most Influential Women In Entertainment
The haters are always going to hate (hate, hate, hate, hate) on Taylor Swift, but even they could have a hard time arguing her power and influence after the debut of her seriously star-studded Bad Blood music video.
Swift's circle of contributors on the highly anticipated video is seriously impressive, though what makes it even more amazing is that the 25 year-old singer is known to be friendly with every with last one of her collaborators. For a singer who seemed to come out of nowhere in 2006 with poignant pop-country fusion hits, she has seriously proven herself to be a major player with one heck of a circle of friends.
Just some of the people in Swift's homage to an (alleged) feud with another pop singer who she didn't feel was a true friend include:
Swift herself as Catastrophe
Selena Gomez as Arsyn (the less-than perfect friend)
Kendrick Lamar as Welvin Da Great
Lena Dunham as Lucky Fiori
Hailee Steinfeld as The Trinity
Serayah as Dilemma
Gigi Hadid as Slay-Z
Ellie Goulding as Destructa X
Martha Hunt as Homeslice
Cara Delevingne as Mother Chucker
Zendaya as Cut-Throat
Hayley Williams as The Crimson Curse
Lily Aldridge as Frostbyte
Karlie Kloss as Knockout
And if Swift's power and dominance isn't proven through these appearances in her video, the fact that she was able to get some other serious big names (including the women who portray the TV characters she names her cats Olivia Benson and Meredith Grey after) to participate says it all:
Jessica Alba as Domino
Mariska Hargitay as Justice
Ellen Pompeo as Luna
Cindy Crawford as Headmistress
Pretty much all we can say is #TaylorSwift2016.
