On Wednesday, Daily Mail posted the details from the book Life Is Short (No Pun Intended) where Klein and his wife, Jen Arnold, revealed frightening stories from their past. The husband and father of two revealed that people were cruel to him about his size, which led to mental and physical harm.

"I was called 'midget,' I was teased, I was ignored, I was threatened, I was chased, I was beaten up," he wrote.

At 4-feet tall, Klein admitted that the mean remarks from other people got him so down that during his college days, he apparently contemplated taking his own life by jumping out a window.

"I would always arrive home alone and often fairly intoxicated," he said. "I stood up and leaned against the wall next to the window."

He added, "I looked down to the place where I might die."

The site pointed out that Klein changed his mind about this when he found his first girlfriend and thought about his family.
