'Beauty and the Beast' Season 3 Spoilers: New Villainous Beasts To Create Menace In Next Chapter [VIDEO]
Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Catherine's (Kristin Kreuk) relationship is probably the most discussed aspect of season 3 of Beauty and the Beast, and rightfully so.
But all the talk about the future of the couple might have distracted fans from main plot points which will create great intrigue in this chapter: the fact that there will be a new set of mysterious beasts to tackle.
Earlier this year, a report revealed that a new beast will be being introduced in season 3. The report did not reveal any other details about the nature of this beast, and who will play the character, keeping things under wraps. This would definitely play up major twists in the CW show.
Main Theme Of Season 4 Revealed By Showrunner
In fact more recently, in interviews, Kreuk has also mentioned this new beast. The actress spoke to TVGuide stating that this will also be cause of tension in her and Vincent's relationship.
Kreuk revealed that Catherine will be secretly working with the Department of Homeland Security agents to help track down the new beast. "They're trying to enroll her, in this...looks like a beast-like threat, but she doesn't believe them until she does," Kreuk said. She went on to state that Catherine tries to rope Vincent in, but he "doesn't want anything to do with it.
"They have this back and forth, with her believing that they have a greater purpose, and him believing that they don't and they should just be happy and should live together and forget all that other stuff," she added about how this would affect their relationship.
This is all that's known about the new beast so far, but the wait for the premiere of season 3 is not too long, so we'll find out more about this entity very soon.
Season 3 of Beauty and the Beast will now be premiering on The CW on June 11 at 8 p.m. on The CW.
