Nicki Minaj And Meek Mill: 'Only' Rapper's Ex Safaree Samuels On If He'll Rap About Her [VIDEO]
Nicki Minaj’s ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels is set to release his own music and while she’s dating rapper Meek Mill, Samuels has revealed whether he will spill details of their relationship and split in his lyrics.

He told Hip Hollywood at the Versus & Flow taping recently, “My album is gonna be different. My album is gonna be different,” he said.
Even though that was all he wanted to offer up, he clearly didn’t want to talk about his previous relationship with the Feeling Myself rapper. When asked how he felt about the breakup being so high profile, he said, “Uumm…It was great” while he looked around.
As far as what fans can expect from his sound, Samuels added that he’ll be bringing plenty to the industry.
“I’m just promoting my mix tape. It is what it is right now; just shooting videos for every song. I got a couple deals on the table. But when I do it, it’s gonna make noise and be the best thing that suits me.”
Nicki and Samuels dated for nearly 15 years before calling it quits last year. They both have been pretty vocal about what caused the split. They have also allegedly moved on with other entertainers. For Nicki, she is said to be engaged to Amen rapper Meek Mill. Safaree Samuels is rumored to be getting extra close with singer and reality star K. Michelle.
