E! Online recently caught up with Archie Panjabi, who played Kalinda on The Good Wife, and asked her about the controversial finale scene that sent fans and critics in a tizzy.

Will Peter Run For President In Season 7?

The entertainment publication spoke to Panjabi while she was promoting her latest film San Andreas. The finale of season 6 of The Good Wife was great and generally lauded by critics, but an ugly revelation about one of the most important scenes in the episode created an uproar online. The scene in which Alicia (Julianna Margulies) and Kalinda (Panjabi) seek closure to their strained friendship and estrangement through two seasons, was actually faked. The two actresses were not physically present in the same space together and shot it seperately. Fans and critics eventually saw through the masterful editing and it was later confirmed that the scene was doctored.

Panjabi was very professional in her response to E! Online and didn't abet the rumors about her rift with Margulies. "All I can say is this: the decision-making process is not something I'm privy to," she said.

Panjabi also spoke about rumors of her possible return as Kalinda. "I don't think so," she said. "She came in as a mystery and left as a mystery."

The finale, entitled 'Wanna Partner?' aired on CBS on May 10.
