It looks as though not everyone is on board with the Duggar family's plan to reveal their side of the truth in Michelle and Jim Bob's upcoming post-scandal interview. Some fans are calling it a "bad idea" as they think the couple is acting too soon in the wake of their son Josh Duggar's sexual molestation news, in which he allegedly abused five young girls while he was a teenager back in 2002.

According to Us Weekly on Saturday, the Duggars will be sitting down for a special interview with The Kelly File on Fox News. The interview will take place at their Springdale, Ark. home and will air on Friday, June 5. There's speculation that Michelle and Jim Bob have agreed to do the interview in order to save their highly rated TLC show, 19 Kids & Counting from being pulled by the network.

Commenters on the popular blog Celebitchy say that the Duggar family might be acting too soon.

One fan wrote, "Scandals are good for ratings is likely why TLC hasn't pulled the plug. Still considering their options for cashing in on this," along with, "I know they're trying to redeem themselves. That's less of a concern than the fact that TLC is still on the fence about this show. I think it should be cancelled and no spinoffs of anyone from that family. TLC is holding on to the Duggers for dear life."

Another commenter wrote, "They are banking on the girls. Save part of the sinking ship through the sympathy for the older girls and give them a show. Shouldn't happen (because it still rewards the parents and their twisted ways), but it probably will."
