5 Seconds of Summer took their Rock Out With Your Socks Out Tour to Glasgow, Scotland Monday, June 1!

Ashton Irwin & Bryana Holly Aren't Officially A Couple, But She's 'Someone Really Nice'?

While in Scotland, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood, Luke Hemmings and Ashton Irwin decided it would be appropriate to wear kilts on stage.

Kilts are part of the Scottish culture and more specifically the Celtic and Gaelic heritage so the band decided to submerse themselves in the culture.

Hey Violet Pranks 5 Seconds of Summer With The Ultimate Dressing Room Practical Joke!

The band teased a ridiculous photoshopped photo of themselves while wearing kilts. It looks as though they put their heads onto others' bodies in the image.

Then once they took the stage at The SSE Hydro, they were seen donning some kilts.

Hood posed with his bass while wearing his kilt as he hash tagged "#KILTUP" and mentioned "some real [A]xl [R]ose shit went down" during the gig.

5SOS drummer Irwin commented that wearing a kilt "WAS BREEZY".

Hemmings meanwhile made a pun of the band's name with "5 seconds of kilts" as he showed off himself playing his guitar and rocking his kilt during the show.

The band seemed to really enjoy wearing kilts as they shared a photo of themselves at the end of their set interacting with the crowd from on stage.

"[T]hank you Glasgow!!!!!" while reiterating that they did wear kilts since they dished, "[S]o yep. [T]his happened."

so yep. this happened. thank you Glasgow!!!!! #kilts4lyf #breezy #commando
