The story of Kyle Richards will soon be made into a comedy series for TV Land.

According to a new report, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star's childhood will be the focus of a half-hour series, which has yet to be given a title.

"I am extremely excited and proud to be collaborating with such a talented and creative team of John Wells Productions, John Riggi, Warner Bros. Television and TV Land to bring this story to life," Richards said in a statement, via The Wrap on Tuesday.

The series will reportedly be set in the 1970s, and include details from Richards' life with her two sisters, Kim Richards and Kathy Hilton. The main character, 40-year-old Bonnie Nolan, is the mother of three daughters, whose marriage falls apart, forcing her to learn to support herself and her daughters on her own.

“We are beyond thrilled to be working with Warner Horizon Television and all of these amazing talents – John Riggi, John Wells, Andrew Stearn and, of course, Kyle Richards,” Keith Cox, TV Land’s EVP Development and Original Programming, told Deadline. “This project, the caliber of the people behind it and its fearless authenticity brings TV Land to new heights.”

Both Richards and her sister, Kim, have acted as children, and appeared in the spotlight as adults, as well, in Bravo's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The Richards sisters have apperaed on the reality show since the series began, and sister Kathy has made a couple of guest appearances.
