Bethenny Frankel is setting the record straight about her love life. The Real Housewives of New York star is denying reports that she broke up with her Boca Raton boyfriend Michael Toppel because she wasn't even in a relationship with him to begin with.

Despite all the tabloid speculation about her personal life, Frankel says she doesn't worry too much about what's written about her by the media.

In an interview with the Washington Post on Tuesday, Frankel said, "If orange is the new black, nothing is the new everything. It's interesting because, once you are known, everything you do and say is out there, and it seems so important. It's not important, and most of it's not true. That people think I just broke up with some guy that I met twice in my life in Boca Raton like, really."

Frankel called out her haters in an interview last month, saying that she's happy just the way she is. In fact, she doesn't even mind being called skinny either.

"I'm not going to come out and use this as a platform to come clean about skinny shaming," she told People last month. "For me, many people are really aspiring to be thin and lose weight and not as many people are aspiring to gain weight. I'm not going to sit here and complain about it."

The Real Housewives of New York airs every Tuesday on the Bravo network.
