Jimmy Fallon had an unusual performance with his guest Christina Aguilera on Friday, Nov. 2.

The late night talk show host and his house band, The Roots music group, joined Aguilera for an electic performance where together they used office supplies for instruments as Aguilera sang.

Fallon opened the set for "The Voice" mentor by using his cell phone's beeps, which served as the background music for Aguilera's vocals that she then supported with the clicking of a stapler. In the video, shown below, the comedian and Grammy singer used a variety of office supplies to substitute instruments: a tape dispenser, Kleenex box, iPhone and a water jug, to name a few.

Aguilera sang "Your Body" and also debuted bright red tips to her platinum blonde tresses.

Earlier this year, Fallon joined another musical guest with unlikely tools for a performance. When Calry Rae Jepsen performed her hit single "Call Me Maybe," Fallon and The Roots used children's instruments.

Aguilera's video for "Your Body," the single off of her upcoming albumm has so far garnered over 22 million hits on YouTube. Her latest studio effort, "Lotus," will arrive in stores and online for purchase on Tuesday, Nov. 13. The release is her first album since 2010's "Bionic."

"Can't wait for you all to hear it," Aguilera tweeted to her followers on Twitter last month.

Aguilera performed her hit song "Beautiful" at the Hurricane Sandy Tribute Concert on Friday, Nov. 2. The event was a fundraiser to benefit those affected by the Hurricane Sandy storm.
