Sarah Paulson may finally win an Emmy this year for her complex performance in FX's American Horror Story: Freak Show.

Paulson, who played conjoined twins Dot and Bette Tattler in AHS: Freak Show, is looking good to potentially bring home Emmy glory this year. The actress has won multiple awards so far for her performance, including a Satellite Award and a Critics' Choice Award, but will that conclude with an Emmy in September?

She is the most likely actress to receive a nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie at the Emmys, according to awards prognosticators GoldDerby. The site even has her above such previous awards darlings as Kathy Bates from AHS: Freak Show and Mo'Nique from HBO's Bessie.

Paulson has previous Emmy nominations under her belt as well. In 2012 she was nominated for the HBO film Game Change, playing Nicolle Wallace. She also received a nomination in 2013 for her memorable turn as Lana Winters in American Horror Story: Asylum, and followed that up in 2014 with a nomination for American Horror Story: Coven, where she played Cordelia Foxx.

With three consecutive nominations, Paulson seems to be due for a win, and her difficult performance playing two characters in AHS: Freak Show might just do the trick.

The actress previously spoke with The Wrap about her obsession with the Emmys.

"I was one of those girls who dreamt of doing this when I was a really small child. I've watched the Emmy Awards for as long as I can remember," Paulson explained. "I have a lot of friends who have them, and believe me, I've been known to be in the rooms of their houses with these Emmys for a little too long, just stroking them."

Here's hoping that Paulson will be able to "stroke" an Emmy of her own in September!

Emmy nominations will be announced on July 16.
