Typically with this reality singing competition it seems as though only winners and runner-ups tend to score record deals and have songs written and produced for them by big names in the industry.
Mia Z goes against that since she really impressed her coach Pharrell Williams, which led to him penning and producing a song just for her.

Two weeks ago, the teen gushed on Instagram, "I'm excited for everyone to see my first single and music video."
The bluesy song is called "Child" and Mia Z revealed she's "SO blessed and grateful" for Williams.
The 16-year-old told Voice Views exactly what the song is about.
On Wednesday, the site revealed that Mia Z learned the night of her elimination that her coach wanted to write a song for her.
"The lyrics were based on how I was feeling and what I thought about my experience on the show," Mia shared.
"I felt very blessed - 'my cup runneth over' - and 'I ain't mad' at all about the outcome. He referred to me as so young '16' and what an experience, and that I was merely still a 'child,'" she dished.
You can watch her music video for "Child" below and we hope she'll work with Williams again.
The Voice will return to NBC in the fall for its ninth season.
