It looks like Campbell took to her Instagram to speak out after VSOP singer K. Michelle revealed the two could be working together on a single.
Campbell posted a picture that reads, “I chase purpose not paper” on Wednesday.
She added the caption, “I’m always looking for an opportunity to let God shine! I’m always gonna step outside the box people try and put me in. Everybody isn’t gonna come to church we have to go get them! And I take the Lord with me everywhere I go…#purpose #ItakecareofGodsbusiness #Godtakescareofmine”
Her post comes just hours after K. Michelle revealed the new project. She shared a snapshot of her and Campbell posing together. She wrote the caption, “Guess who’s about to do a remix song together @iamericacampbell”
Fans brought on different responses.
One wrote, “Interesting…” and another commented with, “puzzle face”
But some encouraged the ladies getting in the studio together.
“This is going to b good!”
“Do your thing K”
Campbell and her sister Tina Campbell made up the dynamic gospel duo Mary Mary for more than 12 years before Erica took on a solo career. Since then, she has won Grammy Awards and other notable honors.
