Jamie Dornan might as well add "trendsetter" to his resume. There's a new report that says the 50 Shades of Grey star is responsible for the growing number of beards then men are sporting in his native Northern Ireland these days.

According to the Belfast Telegraph on Friday, there are so many men growing facial hair these days that razor blade sales have dropped almost 4 percent in the past year.

Hairdresser Jason Shankey of Jason Shankey Hairdressing told the site, ""We're offering our clients these four new products because male grooming is so popular at the moment. More and more men are paying close attention to their image and looking for different ways to pamper themselves."

Dornan himself has been sporting his beard because of his role as Paul Spector in the highly rated BBC drama, The Fall. So far, the actor himself has not made any comments on whether or not he'll continue wearing his beard or shave it off for his next role.

Meanwhile, Dornan has said that he is not a fan of social media.

According to RTE News on Tuesday, the Irish hunk says that he and his wife Amelia Warner and their daughter Dulcie are trying to keep their private life private by not revealing too much about their personal details on social media, like Twitter and Instagram.

He said, "The fame doesn't feel that palpable until you're online, so I'm actively trying to avoid social media at the moment because it suddenly just feels real - that there are all these people who are interested in what you're doing."

Dornan added, "We just go about our day, we're not chased down the street or anything. People whisper here and there, but it's not out of control at the moment I'm pleased to say. But I'm far less aware of it than if I was actively on Twitter - I step back from all that because it's unhealthy."
