‘Dance Moms’ News: Maddie Ziegler Admits ‘I Don’t Worry About Getting Ready For School’ [VIDEO]
Maddie Ziegler might have a lot going on these days schedule wise, but going to school isn't on her list of things to do. The Dance Moms star admits that she doesn't have to worry about waking up early and going to school like most kids her age because she has a tutor who travels with her everywhere she goes.
The 11-year-old told Yahoo Style in a new interview this week that she loves the luxury of being homeschooled because she doesn't have to worry about getting all dolled up before leaving the house. She sits down and goes through her studies with her personal tutor on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 8:30am to 12:30pm/
She said, "I don't have to worry about getting ready and going to school," she says. "I kind of just wake up, go to her house in pajamas. It's really nice."

Ziegler also says that even though she is on a restrictive diet (that mostly included energy bars and fruit), she's not one of those girls who wants to be "super skinny."
She said, "My dance teacher [Abby Lee Miller] will show me pictures of girls who are rhythmic gymnasts, and they are super skinny. But I don't want to be too skinny. I think that looks a little gross when you are dancing."
She added, "You don't want to be a scrawny, bony thing. When I watch people who are really, really skinny, it's kind of hard for me to watch them. I feel so bad, like they are just going to break a bone because they don't have anything on them. I also don't want to be overweight. You have to stay in shape for dance. I don't want to be too skinny, but I don't want to be overweight. I want to be in the middle."
