On Sunday, USA Today posted the details from Woods who apparently came in at last place, calling it his "worst performance as a professional." This came as a shock due to the golfer being known as one of the most iconic players in history, but even the best athletes can have their bad days.
"This is a lonely sport," Woods admitted. "The manager is not going to come in and bring the righty or bring in the lefty, you've got to play through it. And that's one of the hardest things about the game of golf and it's also one of the best things about the game of golf. When you're on, no one is going to slow you down. And when you're off, no one is going to pick you up."

Considering that Woods and his Olympic skiing girlfriend Lindsey Vonn called it quits in their relationship last month, this could've created a damper on the golfer's performance. Of course, he didn't mention anything about that, but just made it clear that he still loves the sport very much.
"Just because I'm in at last place doesn't change how I play golf," he said. "Whether it's the first day or last day, it doesn't matter, you play all out...today was more of what we've been doing on the range. And to be able to step up and tag those drives like I did today and even shape some of the irons, which I was struggling with early in the week, I got those shapes back again, but doing it with a different pattern."
