Gavin MacIntosh from ABC Family's The Fosters promised something to the fans that they will probably be happy to hear.

After several twists and turns with the characters, Jude and Connor (MacIntosh) finally made their relationship official. And the actor mentioned in Friday's Popmania report that audiences are definitely going to see more of their romance in the season three premiere.

"It basically starts right off of that with a lot of Jonnor and you're definitely gonna see a lot more interaction between the two in season three," MacIntosh said.

The actor also revealed what he would love to see happen for the two boys on the series.

"I'd like the show to go in the direction that Connor and Jude are together and that they're both happy with each other," he said.

"I mean, there's so many people out there that are LGBT together and they can't be happy together because society is telling them otherwise and it's really unfortunate," he added. "So the show could go that direction and just show that two 13-year-old kids can be gay for each other and not have discrimination and that would be a very important message."

MacIntosh then discussed how proud he is of the season two finale when Jude and Connor became an exclusive couple.

"I think it ended great, it was a positive ending and I personally love positive endings," he said. "It's a lot easier on the fans, they don't have to be- there's not much suspense over our hiatus. But yeah, I'm really happy with the ending of season two."

The Fosters Season 3 premieres on Monday, June 8 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
