Ever since Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux got engaged this summer, fans and tabloid editors have been counting down the days until the actress gets pregnant.

A report this week from Star Magazine claimed the time had finally come. The magazine's cover bore the headline: "Jen's Pregnant! After years of disappointment, Jen and fiance Justin are expecting a baby girl next May."

The report from Star claimed Aniston was over the moon about her pregnancy, and that she and Theroux had decided to keep quiet to avoid any bad luck.

"Jen has never been more in love and now she has a baby on the way. She's had such a difficult time getting pregnant in the past she was starting to lose hope," the Star report said. "Jen is superstitious and scared to death that making a huge public deal over her pregnancy might jinx her. It took her years to get pregnant and she's aware of the complications that could arise because of her age, so she and Justin have decided to keep silent as they prepare for the baby's arrival."

But Us Weekly did some fact-checking on the report and reached out to a spokesperson for Aniston, who said the story about a pregnancy was totally false.

"It's just another fabrication," her rep said. "She was just at LACMA and she certainly does not look pregnant. When has Star ever been right?"

Aniston certainly showed no signs of a baby bump when she attended an art gala at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and wore a revealing Tom Ford gown with a plunging neckline. CLICK HERE to check out photos of Aniston showing off her body at the 2012 Art + Film event.

Although Aniston isn't pregnant yet, friends of the actress have said that she is definitely ready to get pregnant, even if it happens before her wedding to Theroux.

"In truth, she'll be overjoyed whenever it happens; if that means she has to walk down the aisle with a baby bump and do her toasts with apple cider, then so be it," an insider said.
