There are millions of Elder Scrolls fans out there, but not many can claim to own a $50,000 themed basement in their home.

Live Action Grand Theft Auto Video Nails The Series' Look & Feel

32 year-old comic book artist Tyler Kirkham is likely one of the few who can, having constructed a fully decorated Elder Scrolls basement in his house over several years. Being a massive fan of the game, and with the help of his contractor father, Kirkham was able to build the themed basement shown in the video below.

For someone unfamiliar with the game, it could easily be confused for a general medieval style basement. For fans of Bethesda's fantasy RPG franchise, however, some specific items and the general tone will stand out as an homage to the series. The training area complete with dummies and weapons is a nice touch, and the rest of the basement includes aesthetic items like horns, furs, and potions to complete the look.

Physical features include $8,000 masonry and a moving waterfall--why not go all in, right? Tyler's wife Jill was on board with the plan, even suggesting they go for it with cement floors instead of more child-safe carpet to better fit the style. The secret bookcase door is a nice touch, and the whole basement looks good whether or not you're a fan of the series. Enjoy the video tour and explanation below, courtesy of Barcroft TV.
