Bethenny Frankel is on top of her game these days and it should come to no one's surprise that there are a lot of people out there who are trying to figure out the secret to her success. The Real Housewives of New York star recently opened up about the success of her Skinnygirl brand and how there are a lot of companies out there who are supposedly trying to "copy" her and her winning formula.

According to Fox News on Wednesday, Frankel said that there are a lot of other companies out there who would love to have a piece of her pie.

She said, "Luckily I was the first woman to ever speak to women in cocktails, it was an original idea but I had all the other big brands coming up to copy me. You have to know if your idea is original enough and you can get out there first and best and strongest. You want to make sure no one else can do it and you want to make sure you get the trademark."

Frankel also said that there are a lot of other Housewives stars in the hit Bravo franchise who have a tough time making the right decisions when it comes to branching out in the business world.

Frankel added, "People get caught up in the idea, 'is someone going to steal my idea?' And get caught on paperwork. 'Housewives' make that mistake, they look at me and look at what I'm doing and what everyone is doing. Get your idea be passionate about it and keep it moving and make it happen."

The Real Housewives of New York airs every Tuesday on Bravo.
