A familiar face will be joining the cast of the anticipated Heroes Reborn series.
Ali Larter Discusses Possibility Of Joining 'Heroes Reborn'
On Wednesday, E! News announced that Cristine Rose is coming aboard the series to reprise her role as Angela Petrilli in a guest starring arc. Angela was the mother of Peter and Nathan who had her own ways of manipulating the other characters around, making her a stone cold villain.
As of now, not much was revealed about the future of her character, but odds are likely she'll have some similarities to the vindictive woman she was before.
Is Zachary Quinto Joining 'Heroes Reborn?'
Rose is just one of the characters from the original Heroes series who will be coming back for Reborn. Some other returning actors include Jack Coleman (Noah Bennett), Masi Oka (Hiro Nakamura one more time), Greg Grunberg (Matt Parkman), Sendhil Ramamurthy (Mohinder Suresh) and Jimmy Jean-Louis (The Haitian).
As for characters who will not be coming back, one person who fans won't expect to see is Peter (Milo Ventimiglia). When he made an appearance at the Gilmore Girls reunion panel, he mentioned that he's going to use his time for the new ABC series The Whispers.
Overall, Ventimiglia made it pretty clear that he's not big on reunions in general because he believes things should be remembered for what they were.
"I think it's kind of in the zeitgeist to revive everything and I don't know how good that is because it takes away from that lightning in the bottle moment where you're in that period of life where you're watching something for the first time and you're experiencing it all that," the actor said.
Heroes Reborn is expected to premiere this fall on NBC.
