Kim Richards Has Been Fired From 'RHOBH' For Misconduct
Following her drunken arrest on April 16, the Bravo reality star is facing charges, which could result in time behind bars.
"Kim Richards, one of the 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,' will be arraigned Thursday on three misdemeanors that could -- but, let's get real, likely won't -- land her in jail for 2½ years," the Los Angeles Times reported on Wednesday. "Her legal load so far? Misdemeanor charges of public intoxication, resisting arrest and battery on a peace officer, originally filed May 11."
Kim Richards Is In Rehab For Mental Issues -- Not Drugs [Report]
Richards was arrested two months ago at the Beverly Hills Hotel's Polo Lounge. During her arrest, Richards reportedly attempted to lock herself in a restroom before she kicked a police officer. Following the dramatic arrest, Richards spoke to Dr. Phil, admitting she had relapsed months prior.
Days after the interview, Richards entered a treatment center, where she was said to be addressing her addiction to alcohol. However, weeks later, Richards left rehab to attend her daughter's wedding, and failed to return.
Once back in Los Angeles, Richards entered a second treatment facility, which reportedly focuses on psychological issues, rather than additions to alcohol and/or drugs.
"Richards’ new rehab does not specifically deal with addiction problems— which the reality wreck clearly suffers from," Radar Online reported. "The $50,000 center claims to treat serious mental disorders including bipolar, depression, anxiety, psychotic, narcissistic and schizophrenia."
