Jill Duggar, Derick Dillard News 2015: Has Their Spin-Off Show Been Shelved Because Of Josh Duggar Molestation Scandal? [VIDEO]
Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard might have lost out on a big opportunity thanks to the report that leaked Josh Duggar's decade-old sexual molestation case. There's a rumor that says the couple's planned spin-off show has been shelved as the TLC network simply doesn't want to take any chances with additional Duggar shows on the small screen right now.
According to Celebitchy on Friday, a Duggar family source says that there are "no plans for a spin-off at this point," which was supposed to include not only Jill and Dillard, but her sister Jessa and her husband Ben Seewald, too.
So far, the Duggar sisters have not made any additional comments since their tell-all interview with Fox News' Megyn Kelly last week, nor have they mentioned anything about a spin-off show.
Meanwhile, there's a new report that says Dillard quit his job at Walmart because of the scandal.
According to the Daily Mail on Wednesday, an automatic email from Dillard's company email address at his old job states, "I have recently accepted a position outside of Walmart and am no longer working for the company."
The Duggars have not made any comments about Dillard's departure from his job, although fans are speculating that he might have quit so he and Jill can move to Nepal to help victims following their earthquake or that he simply quit because of the scandal.
