Anne Hathaway reminded her fans why she is the successful A-list star that she is today.

Hathaway appeared on "Saturday Night Live" on Nov.10 and performed memorable comedy routines that included parodies of Claire Danes and Katie Holmes.

"The Devil Wears Prada" star's most hilarious segment, according to many who watched the show, was when she portrayed Claire Danes' "Homeland" character Carrie Mathison, the famous CIA agent with bi-polar disorder for which Danes earned an Emmy award this year.

Hathaway nailed the role of the semi-psycho agent known for her tics and twitches and passion for constantly pinning papers on cork boards at her office.

In the sketch, Mathison's bosses tell her not to interrogate a prisoner because she always ends up having sex with them and has a tendency to "wash down pills with white wine."

As Mathison, Hathaway made funny, strange faces and performed a weird dance during a "jazz freak-out" that were reminiscent of Jim Carrey in his best films. In the next scene, her bosses catch her kissing a detainee in an interrogation room.

In another sketch, the 29-year-old actress performed a meek version of Katie Holmes on a spoof of "Ellen". One of the "SNL" cast members portrayed Ellen DeGeneres with her tendency to never sit still in her chair on her talk show, Hathaway's take on Tom Cruise's ex was a sleepy nonchalant actress who was completely blase' when she answered questions by the mock DeGeneres.

'Well if you read Us Weekly you'll know that Suri and I spend every waking moment at the zoo," Hathaway said very sleepy.

When asked how she handles the paparazzi she replied, "I know they are doing their job" but if they come near her daughter Suri she will "cut them,"

The "SNL" audience also saw Hathaway perform a comedic sketch of her next film, "Les Miserables," a manager at McDonald's restaurant and a woman who wears pioneer-era clothes.

At the end of the show Hathaway acknowledged both Holmes and Danes in her thank you exit speech.

"Thank you to Claire Danes and Katie Holmes...you're the best!"
