Kim Kardashian & Kanye West PDA At 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards
"Kimye" invaded Germany and attended the 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards at Festhalle Frankfurt on Nov. 11.
Kim Kardashian stood out on the red carpet in a dress with a long train that appeared to be made from plastic squares. She also shared the name of the fashion designer via Twitter, with hopes that her fans might approve of it.
"I'm wearing the coolest Stephane Rolland dress for tonight's MTV Awards! Hope you guys like it!" she tweeted.
Fashion reports slammed the black number, however, considering it a disappointment compared to the stylish, flattering outfits the reality TV star wore the previous week in London. Fashion disaster aside, "Kimye" wowed the crowd perhaps not for their star power, but because they displayed major PDA during the ceremony.
Kardashian was sitting on West's lap as the "Otis" rapper was laid back in his seat taking in a full view as Alicia Keys and Rita Ora took the stage. Kardashian presented an award on stage and later sent photographers in a frenzy when she posed for a picture with "Gangnam Style" rapper Psy. The rapper and the 31-year-old posed for the cameras together and Psy's fitted designer black satin suit complimented Kardashian's black satin dress and train.
Prior to attending the event, Kardashian revealed she spent time watching some of her favorite movies.
"Watching 'Beauty & The Beast' while glamming up for the awards! This is probably my favorite Disney movie, along with 'Aladdin!' "
The day befor the 2012 MTV EMAs, Kardashian was in London for a promotional event. The Armenian beauty and her sisters, Kourtney and Khloe, were together in London to celebrate the launch of a line of apparel that will be sold at Dorothy Perkins stores and online.
The MTV Europe Music Awards was hosted by German "Project Runway" creator Heidi Klum. Top nominees including Nicki Minaj, Rita Ora, Taylor Swift, Carly Rae Jepsen and Rihanna. Swift and Justin Bieber came out as the night's biggest winners, earning three awards each. The show will air in the U.S. via MTV 2.
