In addition to Meghan King Edmonds and Tamra Barney's doubts about his diagnosis, fans online have accused Vicki Gunvalson's boyfriend of pretending to have cancer so she would stay with him. On Tuesday, Ayers responded to his critics on Twitter.

Gunvalson also addressed the claims of Ayers faking cancer this week in her blog.
“When Tamra asked me how Brooks was doing, I told her he was having another round of chemo when we returned,” Gunvalson wrote, according to Radar Online. “I was SHOCKED to hear Eddie mockingly cough in his hand bulls--t. How would Eddie know if Brooks was having chemo or not?
“I was glad to have Tamra finally agree to stop talking negatively about Brooks to anyone,” she continued. “He has been nothing but nice to her, and to have Tamra say that ‘as long as he makes you happy, I’m good with it,’ was like a load off my back.”
The Real Housewives of Orange County season 10 airs on Monday nights at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
