Lamar Odom is reportedly back in touch with his estranged wife, Khloe Kardashian, and her mother, Kris Jenner.

Although Kardashian filed for divorce from Odom over a year ago, she and her mother weren't going to let him go through the recent death of his friend, Jamie Sangouthai, alone, and have reportedly made contact with the former NBA star.
“Kris and Khloe have both spoken to Lamar,” a source close to the situation told Radar Online on Wednesday. “They are trying to console him. They really want to make sure that he is ok right now and that he knows that they will do anything for him.”

Earlier this month, Sangouthai, who appeared on Keeping Up With The Kardashians and Khloe & Lamar, died after reportedly suffering a heroin overdose.
“Khloe knows how Lamar can turn to drugs and alcohol to numb his pain. She is keeping him from a dark place. She hopes that she can help him right now,” the source said. “Even though they’re split up, they’re still married and she does care about him. Jamie’s death has scared everyone.”
In addition, the Kardashian family is reportedly considering helping Sangouthai's family financially.
“They’re friends and they want to make sure that Jamie’s family doesn’t suffer anymore,” the source explained.
