Fans saw Braxton go on her first date on last night’s episode since the divorce drama sparked. But in a deleted scene the network released, her mother, Miss Evelyn, is a little weary of her daughter getting back out there so soon.
So she tries to get the juicy details on who the man is and what Braxton is hoping will happen between them.

In the video Towanda spills the beans to Miss Evelyn and lets her know that Trina is getting ready to go on a date. Trina immediately scolds Towanda and makes it clear she hasn’t told her mother yet. She reminds Towanda that she vowed not to tell anyone but Towanda thought it was okay because “I didn’t tell her who it was with.”
But Miss Evelyn immediately lets it be known that she feels a way about not knowing.
“So, what’s going on? She said you had a date?”
When Trina said it was just a “baby date”, she asked, “How you gon have a baby date? You taking a baby out of this?”
Trina then reveals that Miss Evelyn has actually met him. She tells her it’s the man who is doing construction for her company, Bar Chicks.
Miss Evelyn asks if he’s African American and Trina can’t help but laugh.
“Yes, he’s black. I like the man, not the color.”
Miss Evelyn responds, “Look at God…Well, you know, love comes in all colors.”
