The CBS procedural drama with some comedy mixed in received the same honor just last year.
On Thursday CBS Corporation announced the terrific news! Brian Dietzen, who portrays Jimmy on the series, was actually in Monte-Carlo, Monaco for the Monte-Carlo Television Festival on behalf of NCIS.

In his "thank you" video that was shared on the NCIS Twitter, Dietzen dished season 13 will have "24 fantastic episodes!"
Dietzen could not stop saying "thank you" actually. He continued his parade of "thank yous" in a tweet.
"Thank you, world," he graciously tweeted. His costars, Michael Weatherly (who plays Tony DiNozzo), Pauley Perrette (Abby Sciuto) and Sean Murray (Timothy McGee), all celebrated via Twitter the news too! Weatherly deemed the news "sweet."
Perrette like Dietzen thanked the viewers of the show.
Murray gushed he was "very happy to hear the announcement" and sent his thanks as well.
NCIS returns to CBS in the fall on Sept. 22 at 8 p.m. ET.
