She did fabulously well throughout the competition. During her blind audition she actually turned three coaches' chairs, but surprisingly her coach at the end of the competition, Blake Shelton, was not one of them.
She began her journey on Pharrell Williams' team before Shelton stole her during the battle rounds.

The singer opened up to The Boot recently about the experience of competing on a reality singing competition show.
Despite belting out pretty flawless performances of "Tennessee Whiskey," "Amazing Grace," "Steamroller Blues" and more, she was actually a mess internally.
"There's never a moment where you don't feel pressure. It's a very stressful situation," she dished.
She also regarded her blind audition highly. She sang "Love Hurts" and revealed that during the audition she really let herself go.
"You really put yourself out there during your audition. I don't know how I sang that song. It was so nerve-wracking, but I believe in risk. I took a risk, and I think it really paid off, and I feel good about that," Linsey said.
Linsey has a closer bond with Shelton even since becoming a member of his team. She previously toured with the country star when she was part of musical duo Steel Magnolia. Since coming off the reality singing competition show she revealed she has no problem with texting him a question about what she's working on.
"He'll text me right back. He definitely has some good ideas. He's really, truly just an amazing human being. And I think people know that, but if they don't, they should know that Blake Shelton is an incredible human," she gushed.
Well, despite the stress of performing on The Voice it seems like things are going well for Linsey.
The Voice returns for its ninth season on NBC in the fall.
