Maddie Ziegler might not be very close to her biological Father these days, but that doesn't mean she doesn't have good male role models in her life. The pint-sized Dance Moms star shared a heartfelt pic and message to her tap teacher Matt on Father's Day this Sunday.

Ziegler shared a pic of her embracing her instructor and captioned it simply with, "Thanks for being the BEST tap teacher in the world!! Love you so much Matt."

It was just last month that Maddie admitted in an interview that she doesn't see much of her Father now that she is a huge reality star and celebrity in the entertainment world.

According to Britain's Telegraph, Ziegler opens up about her parents' divorce, her new family dynamic and how she's dealing with her fame. Ziegler's parents, Melissa and Ken, divorced back in 2011 after her father said that her dance career was "ruining" their family. Since then, she hasn't spent much time with her biological father or his side of the family.

She said, "I don't see as much of my dad, I live with my stepdad, who's awesome. He's like my best friend. I usually see my dad on holidays, like Thanksgiving or Christmas Eve - definitely not Christmas though, because all my presents are at my house."
