Meadow wished all a happy Father's Day by posting an adorable and heartbreaking photo from back when she was just a baby, on Instagram. A young Walker is seen planting a kiss on the cheek of his darling daughter, who has her tiny arms wrapped around his neck:
Previously Meadow had also marked Walker's one-year death anniversary with a similar picture of her as a toddler with her father.
Could Mia Toretto Return For Fast and Furious 8?
Walker is still remembered quite often by not only his family but also his co-stars and friends in the Fast and Furious franchise, and for those who think the actor's legacy would end with Furious 7 are highly mistaken.
On the evening of the MTV Music Awards on April 12, Diesel told the entertainment website about what lies ahead for the franchise and how the memory of Walker was very much still part of the Fast and Furious movies going forward. He was glad the Furious 7 tribute to Walker was honored by the audiences. "The fact that the world embraced it and allowed it to be Paul's legacy, it's just a beautiful thing," he said.
The actor went on to reveal that Walker was the one who was certain of the sequel to Furious 7, and always affirmed it as fact.
"Paul used to say that ['Fast & Furious'] 8 was guaranteed and, in some ways, when you're brother guarantees something, you have to make sure it comes to pass," Diesel said.
He went on to place Walker in the next project beautifully stating that next film will be "from" him.
"So, if fate has it - fate, F8 - then you'll get it. 'Furious 7′ was for Paul; 8 is from Paul.'"
Fast and Furious 8 will release on April 15, 2017.
Furious 7 hit theaters on April 3, 2015.
