The 5H singer shared a photo of the famous words, "If not you, then who? If not now, then when?"
She then dived into her thoughts about the world lacking empathy.

"I'm feeling quite sad today reflecting on the state of our world," Jauregui admitted, adding, "There is such a deep and alarming need to awaken people's empathy."
Jauregui has such a clear picture of how the world should be in that we are all humans regardless of our "different shades" as well as our "different genders," "different views and beliefs."
She then made a brilliant analogy between birds and humans to further explain her stance.
"When you look up into the sky and see something flying, you don't think about calling it a bird, it just is one. Whether it's blue or green or multicolored, it is a bird that needs to fly. We are all humans with the need to survive and love," she declared.
"We need to STOP this division, creating labels and groups that target our differences. We need to stop dwelling on them and start building on our commonality. Recognize that it is just WRONG to stereotype, persecute, oppress, murder, (the atrocities are endless) HUMAN BEINGS," she enlightened.
What spurred her sadness on Father's Day? Well, the 5H singer has "seen this trend about saving dogs from being murdered in China" and is amazed that so many people are in an uproar over it, petitioning to make a change, yet she wants to know, "When are we going to start taking that same initiative with one another?"
Her questions didn't end there. She asked a handful of other ones, including, "When are we going to recognize that what happened in Charleston was a BLATANT act of violence fueled by an institutionalized entitlement and privilege[?]"
Jauregui really wants to know "WHERE IS EVERYONE'S SOUL AND HUMAN EMPATHY."
She strongly believes as people "We need to do better."
She then wished her dad Mike well on Father's Day, calling him "such a pillar of light in my life."
It seems like Jauregui developed her deep empathy partially from her dad and while yesterday was an overall celebratory day, the young adult has a valid point that the world needs to change.
