Some of the latest revelations that hint at how things might unravel for the Arrow crew in season 4 suggest Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) might also be in for a dramatic overhaul with Oliver (Stephen Amell).

Laurel To Take Oliver's Place In Team Arrow?

Piecing together some bits of spoiler-like information that have come through so far, it seems like Felicity is also going to be given a new avatar with her partner Oliver. Most recently a report by TVLine hinted at the introduction of a new character, a tech whiz, who could take Felicity's place in the team, as Diggle (David Ramsey), Thea (Willa Holland) and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) might need someone to step up for the team while Felicity is taking a hiatus with Oliver.

In a previous interview with IGN, Rickards also hinted at the possibility of her character getting a new alter ego, something even Oliver might be working on.

Could Sarab Be Resuscitated In Season 4?

Felicity donned the Atom's suit to rescue Oliver in the finale of season 3, but she confirmed that that wouldn't repeat itself. "Costume-wise, maybe, but probably not the Atom suit again. I think we used that bubble, but that was fun. It was hard to wear that suit."

Finally, she suggested that she was game for a new avatar for her character, albeit she was funny about what she had in mind: "Maybe, we'll see. Or just a split-personality. I'll 'United States of Tara' her."

In another interview with TVGuide, Rickards also assured fans that Oliver and Felicity will be compelled to return to their line of vigilante work, and won't just be disappearing into the romantic sunset.

"What I think is so interesting is that once you help people and have served justice for so long, is that it might become an addiction to a certain extent," she said. "It's one thing to go and be happy and sit on an island, but you want to still be doing important work. So I don't know what that's going to be for them. They're going to have a balance of that and hopefully in their relationship as well."

So fans should prepare for some exciting times ahead on Arrow, as the couple might start their own enterprise.

The announcement of Arrow's renewal for a fourth season was made earlier this month.

The finale of season 3, entitled 'My Name is Oliver Queen,' of Arrow aired on May 13 on The CW.
