Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family has given details on how they are holding on to hope despite rumors that they are bringing her home to pass away in peace.
Whitney Houston’s Estate In Jeopardy Amid Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Condition
Brown, who is the only child of the late Whitney Houston and New Edition singer Bobby Brown, has been in headlines since Jan. 31 when she was found unconscious in her bathtub.
It’s still unclear as to what has happened, but she is still fighting for her life. Her family has managed to stay hopeful and prayerful despite a doctor saying she has suffered from “irreversible brain damage.”
One family insider close to the Houston clan told People magazine Tuesday, “Krissi is breathing, but she cannot communicate. I think [her grandmother] Cissy Houston said it best — that she’s in God’s hands.”
They added that the family is “making sure she is at peace” and sing to her while they wait for her to recover.
“Someone usually will read to her the 23rd Psalm. Her family is right there with her. They sing to her and talk to her. They just want her to feel that they are by her side. They hold her hand a lot and pray with her too— even if she doesn’t know that they are there. In spirit, she knows. They have always tried to be there for her.”
They said her father, Bobby, hasn’t made any decisions regarding her life but rather “taking it one day at a time.”
The source continued and said they are letting God have his way.
