Bound to be another Marvel blockbuster, the highly anticipated film is still shooting in and around Atlanta. That didn't stop comic book studio from whipping out a clip at Wednesday's Barcelona convention, however.
The footage, which is unfortunately unavailable to those outside CineEurope, served up some tantalizing details regarding Caps (Chris Evans) and Iron Man's (Robert Downey Jr) impending battle.
Co-director Joe Russo explained that the plot will be predicated on the deadly "collateral damage" incurred by Earth's Mightiest Heroes, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Downey also teased the obvious, stating that the dispute over the Superhero Registration Act will make the well-known characters choose sides.
Set to hit theaters on May 6, Captain America: Civil War will host a Marvel cast of thousands. All of the Avengers, with the exception of Thor and Hulk, will have a role to play, although it is unknown how involved the superhero collective will be past whatever incident will presage the Registration Act.
