Many Hollywood marriages seem to come and go, but for Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, they seem to be stronger now than ever. The Hollywood actor admits that while their marriage suffered a "little bump down the road," things are finally back on track for the two big-screen stars.

In a new interview with The Daily Mail on Friday, Douglas, who shares two children, Dylan and Carys, with Zeta-Jones, says it hasn't always been easy for the couple. Douglas suffered through a cancer scare while Zeta-Jones was diagnosed with having a bi-polar disorder.

He said, "We had a little bump in the road. The problem in this business is that everything is so public. I love Catherine as much, more than I ever have. And hopefully the feeling's mutual."

He added, "We worked things out - if both people want to work something out and make it better, you can do it. You can't do if it's just one person. Look, we're about to have our 15th wedding anniversary and it feels great."

Douglas also opened up about his wife and age discrimination against actresses in Hollywood.

He said, "I think for all young actresses who are beautiful, age is not the most welcoming part. But she's comfortable with it and I think she's comfortable with who she is. She's still stunning looking.

As far as her native Wales, Douglas says the family travels frequently to Zeta-Jones's hometown.

He said, "I've been to The Mumbles a number of times. The Gower Peninsula is one of the most beautiful places I've seen. They have a fair amount of rain - they could probably import that to California around now. But it's a great community and I love playing golf over there. I can't do the accent."
