Nikko Smith might be known as a sleaze ball on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Atlanta but in a deleted clip of the show he tries to make peace with his ex-girlfriend Mimi Faust.

The two have been going head-to-head this season from the fallout of their sex tape drama. While Faust admitted that she had a part in leaking the tape and selling it to a huge entertainment company, Smith also spoke on his part of the embarrassing situation as well.

Smith met up with Faust at a local gym. She obviously wasn’t expecting him but still went outside to speak with him.

“I think this thing is kinda out of control right now. My intentions was not to cause you any problems. My intention from the beginning was to see if we could work something and see if we could build something.”

Faust wasn’t buying his lengthy apology and let him know it wasn’t going to work.

“I don’t believe you. Whatever you have or think you have to hang over my head…”

Smith added that he only threatened Faust with blackmail because he was livid with her at the time. While he was apologizing, he called her out for dragging his name through the mud in the public and pointed out that he never did that to her.

“I haven’t done nothing wrong to you; other than lie to you and not to tell you I was married. Let me have the chance to clean that up.”

See what he had to say about why he hid his marriage to Margeaux in the clip below.
