In her book, Madison made several shocking claims against Hefner's father, Playboy's Hugh Hefner, whom she dated for several years. In addition to her comments regarding Hugh's ties to drugs and verbally abusive behavior, Madison alleged he offered her $3 million to stay with him after she revealed plans to part ways.

Hefner even claimed it wasn't actually Madison wrote the book. Instead, he claimed, she used a ghost writer, and gave her name to the memoir.
