Jenner Divorce Rumors: Kris, Khloe Speak Out About Rumored Split
The Kardashian family never seems to leave the spotlight.
Though the focus is usually on sisters Kim, Kourtney and Khloe, this week it was the heads of the family's turn to get dragged into the rumor mill.
Speculation has been circulating that Kris Jenner, mother of the Kardashian sisters, and her husband, Olympic gold medalist Bruce Jenner, are headed for a divorce.
Kris spoke about the rumors with "Extra," telling the TV show that the story is completely false, but she and her family have gotten used to the tabloid treatment.
"Well about once a week we're on the cover, a family member is getting divorced or leaving the country, and neither are true," she said. "I am here to say, we're alive and kicking, very happy, life is good."
And apparently even something as serious as divorce rumors don't make the family lose their cool.
"I called Bruce this morning and said 'Honey, this is the latest rumor,' he said, 'Don't bug me, I'm at the hobby shop,'" Kris said.
Jenner also lamented the fact that outright lies are reported about her family on a regular basis, but added that she is glad she is able to clear up the untrue reports.
"It's a shame that, you know, certain stuff is just completely fabricated, but that's definitely completely fabricated," she said.
Kris' daughter Khloe Kardashian, who is often subject to divorce rumors herself along with her basketball player Lamar Odom, also commented on the rumors to "Extra" following the taping of a live episode of "The X Factor," which Khloe co-hosts.
"No they're not [getting divorced], as far as I know they're not, but I am so happy the divorce rumors are off me for a day," she said.
